Over the past few years, I’ve fallen deeply in love with Spain—its warmth, culture, and way of life—and it brings me real joy to share that passion and the wonderful experiences I’ve had here with my guests.
I’m a compassionate, proactive, and detail-oriented host with a strong service mindset. I take great care to ensure everything is perfectly in order so you can enjoy a carefree, comfortable stay.
Cleanliness, quick communication, and making you feel supported—whether you want to relax or explore the local area—are always my top priorities.
I’m available whenever you have a question or need assistance during your stay.
I love hosting families, groups, solo travelers, and digital nomads alike, and I truly hope this space feels like a home where you can relax, recharge, and create beautiful memories by the sea.

How we started
Lien's connection with Spain and the Latin culture started in 2012
when she started to dance salsa and bachata intensively.
In 2019, her job offered her to work in Madrid, where she lived for one year.
After returning to Belgium, she felt that something was missing and she planned to visit Spain again.
During multiple visits to explore the Spanish costa's in 2021, Lien fell in love once again with the lifestyle and the way to enjoy life of the Spaniards.
Meanwhile, she continued to learn Spanish.
Her dream was to have a villa overlooking the sea, where she could host guests, create unique experiences and organize events related to dancing, healthy lifestyle and personal development.
Aiming to build experience and start immediately, rather than to wait until retirement, the idea to buy an apartment was born.
After that, she decided that it had to be in Andalucia, because of its richness in culture, gastronomia, flamenco and the friendly people.
During one of the visits early 2022, Lien decided it was time to decide.
After visiting many properties, she fell in love with Benalmadena, and this specific apartment for its spectacular views overlooking the mountains, while so close to the sea.
She immediately saw the potential of this spacious apartment to turn it into something beautiful and comfortable.

Once the keys were handed over in July 2022, a journey started to transform the apartment in a place that would feel inviting for guests to spend their holidays. Starting with basic necessities such as installing air conditioning, building wardrobes, painting and bringing in the first furniture, Lien spent her own holidays tirelessly into this passion project.
Finally the first guests were welcomed in April 2023 to casa "Playa y Palmeras".
Since then, we have welcomed many guests from different countries, families, friends, digital nomads, ...
Lien personally interacts with the guests to ensure a personal contact to make you feel welcomed.
The apartment didn't stop transforming after launching.
Lien is constantly looking for ways to improve and further renovate.
A third bedroom was built in the open space upstairs, allowing more guests to stay.
A lot of attention was spent on details and decoration: the whole interior design is based on natural materials, with an authentic Andalusian touch and a hint of boho. You might see the Andalusian tiles on the stairs, the name tag of "Playa y Palmeras" on the terrace, the typical ceramics of the area, paintings of the town Frigiliana, ...
Many items carry a personal story:
the vintage cabinet downstairs belonged to Lien's grandparents and was carefully restored by her uncle, the painting in the dining room comes from a trip to Curaçao, and many decorative pieces were collected during Lien's travels in and beyond Spain.
Downstairs, a marine relax vibe has been created.
Upstairs, each room has its own atmosphere —the bohemian master bedroom, the Moorish green room, and the Middle-Eastern sunset room — designed to inspire calm, comfort, and a sense of place.
